Sometimes, when you are irked and tweaking at every little ole thang, it is nice to stop, close your eyes, and take VERY deep breaths.
The kind that almost make you dizzy. Just make sure your eyes are closed, and you tune out as much as you can. Focus only on the breaths and how they make you feel. Take AT LEAST 10.
I have started to incorporate doing this at least 3 times a day. When I am not having a particularly stressful day, I will just incorporate sporadically. When a day isn’t going to plan, I will do this and think “Happiness” over and over. It truly, truly helps.
Even if you have to do it 20 times.
